Yes, absolutely. Lip blush and lip filler can work beautifully together.We recommend allowing at least 4–6 weeks between lip filler injections and lip blush to ensure the filler has settled and your lips have fully healed.If your filler has migrated beyond your natural lip border, we may recommend having it assessed and potentially dissolved before treatment.Lip blush can enhance your natural lip shape, restore definition and improve the appearance of symmetry. However, pigment must remain within the natural lip border to ensure a soft, natural-looking result as it fades over time.

A topical numbing cream is applied to your lips prior to the procedure to ensure comfort. While the process is generally mild, some sensation is to be expected.

Immediately after the procedure, your lips will likely appear as if lipstick has been applied. The intensity is depending on the chosen colour. Some slight swelling may occur due to the abrasion of the skin, but this will subside over the following days. Aftercare will be provided.

Yes. If you have a favourite lipstick you wear everyday, bring it to your appointment with you! Its great to see a visual of the colour you wear daily. This can be closely colour matched however we cannot guarantee 100% match.

The results of lip blush can be noticed almost instantly. The first few days after procedure, colour will be intense and not a true representation of the long term colour. After this, it will take around 4 weeks to be able to see the full results of treatment.

To achieve the best possible results, please follow these simple guidelines before your appointment.Keep your lips hydrated: Drink plenty of water, gently exfoliate a few days beforehand and regularly apply a nourishing lip balm. Your lips should be free from dryness, cracks or irritation.Skincare: Avoid retinol, vitamin C serums, glycolic acid and strong exfoliating products around the lips for 2 weeks before treatment.Alcohol & caffeine: Avoid both for 24 hours beforehand, as they may increase sensitivity or bleeding. Please let me know if you take blood-thinning medication, and never stop prescribed medication without medical advice.Cold sores: If you have a history of cold sores, please speak to your GP about preventative antiviral medication before your appointment. Lip blush can trigger an outbreak, and treatment cannot be performed if a cold sore is present.Lip filler: Allow at least 4–6 weeks between lip filler and lip blush treatments.Roaccutane: If you are currently taking Roaccutane or have taken it within the last 12 months, please contact me before booking.Botox, laser & chemical peels: Allow at least 2 weeks between treatments around the lips, ensuring the skin has fully healed.If you’re unsure about anything before your appointment, please get in touch.
